The company was founded in 1982 the company in Buchloe (GE) by Dieter J. Kunstmann and his wife Rosemarie. In 1993 the company was moved to a new location at Tussenhausen (GE). In 1998 the company changed from being a purely trade enterprise to a manufacturing firm with a branch in Tussenhausen (GE) for the manufacture of stands.

In the year 2000 the production line was expanded by establishing a branch factory for the coating of steel trays in Brilon (GE). Unfortunately Dieter J. Kunstmann was not able to witness the start-up of the production in Brilon (GE) because of his unexpected sudden death on 23 January, 2000.

With about 80 staff members AIB Kunstmann GmbH provides a reliable supply of trays and stands at two own locations. In addition licensed productions in Germany and the Czech Republic increase our flexibility.
